Queensland was established by a Nottingham based
business to provide domestic customers and businesses
with a high quality carpet & upholstery cleaning service in the
South Wales area. The business was run and managed by
Peter Maybury who had already a vast experience within the
flooring and upholstery markets.

The Welsh part of the business became independent in 1989.

In 1990 after completing the Royal Society for Health course
in college, Queensland Pest Control Service was established
to run alongside Queensland Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners
and the Flooring Division, Queensland Carpets Direct.
Queensland was one of the original members of the two
operating businesses on the Welsh Pest Management Forum.

Staying independent has allowed us to choose the machinery
and chemicals we wish to use giving us a big advantage over
the many franchise companies that base their businesses to
a particular method or system. Giving a heavy commitment to
training gives us the ability to stay at the forefront within our
fields of expertise.
